+ DAILY PRAYER +
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!
Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan,
and he hears my voice.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you;
He will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 35:1-6, 9-10
Psa 35:1 Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me!
Psa 35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help!
Psa 35:3 Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers!
Say to my soul, “I am your salvation!”
Psa 35:4 Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life!
Let them be turned back and disappointed who devise evil against me!
Psa 35:5 Let them be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away!
Psa 35:6 Let their way be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them!
Psa 35:9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD,
exulting in his salvation.
Psa 35:10 All my bones shall say, “O LORD, who is like you,
delivering the poor from him who is too strong for him,
the poor and needy from him who robs him?”

Yahweh Gives Authority to His Messiah
110 Of David. A psalm.
1 A declaration of Yahweh to my lord,
“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies your footstool.”
2 Yahweh will send out your mighty scepter from Zion;
rule in the midst of your enemies.
3 Your people ?will volunteer? in the day of your power.
In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn,
you will have the dew of your youth.
4 Yahweh has sworn and he will not change his mind,
“You are a priest forever
according to the manner of Melchizedek.”
5 O Lord, at your right hand
he will shatter kings in the day of his anger.
6 He will judge among the nations;
he will fill them with corpses.
He will shatter the ?rulers? of many countries.
7 He will drink from the stream by the road;
therefore he will lift up his head.
Praise to God for His Work and Commands
111 Praise Yah!
I will give thanks to Yahweh with all my heart,
in the assembly of the upright and the congregation.
2 The works of Yahweh are great,
studied by all who delight in them.
3 Full of splendor and majesty is his work,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has made his wonders ?to be remembered?;
Yahweh is gracious and compassionate.
5 He gives food to those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has declared the power of his works for his people,
by giving to them the inheritance of the nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithfulness and justice;
all his precepts are reliable.
8 They are sustained forever and ever,
done with faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He has sent redemption to his people;
he has commanded his covenant forever;
holy and fearful is his name.
10 The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom;
all who do them have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever.
