+ DAILY PRAYER +
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!
Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan,
and he hears my voice.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you;
He will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 77:11-15
Psa 77:11 I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, I will remember your wonders of old.
Psa 77:12 I will ponder all your work,
and meditate on your mighty deeds.
Psa 77:13 Your way, O God, is holy.
What god is great like our God?
Psa 77:14 You are the God who works wonders;
you have made known your might among the peoples.
Psa 77:15 You with your arm redeemed your people,
the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah
Reading for Friday April 4th Psalm 106:22-32
22 wonders in the land of Ham,
awesome deeds by ?the Red Sea?.
23 So he said he would exterminate them,
had not Moses, his chosen one,
stood in the breach before him,
to reverse his wrath from destroying them.
24 Then they refused the desirable land;
they did not believe his word,
25 but grumbled in their tents.
They did not obey the voice of Yahweh.
26 So ?he made an oath? against them,
to make them drop in the wilderness,
27 and to disperse their ?descendants? among the nations
and to scatter them among the lands.
28 They also attached themselves to Baal of Peor,
and they ate sacrifices offered to the dead.
29 Thus they provoked to anger by their deeds,
and a plague broke out among them.
30 Then Phinehas stood up and intervened,
and so the plague was stopped,
31 and it was reckoned to him as righteousness
?throughout all generations?.
32 They also angered God at the waters of Meribah,
and it went badly for Moses on account of them,
