The People of God Dwell in Unity A song of ascents. Of David. 1 Look, how good and how pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity. 2 It is like the fragrant oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, that runs down upon the edges of his robes. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon that runs down upon the mountains of Zion, because there Yahweh commanded the blessing— life forever…
+ DAILY PRAYER +
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!
Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan,
and he hears my voice.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you;
He will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 17:7-15
Psa 17:7 Wondrously show your steadfast love,
O Savior of those who seek refuge
from their adversaries at your right hand.
Psa 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings,
Psa 17:9 from the wicked who do me violence,
my deadly enemies who surround me.
Psa 17:10 They close their hearts to pity;
with their mouths they speak arrogantly.
Psa 17:11 They have now surrounded our steps;
they set their eyes to cast us to the ground.
Psa 17:12 He is like a lion eager to tear,
as a young lion lurking in ambush.
Psa 17:13 Arise, O LORD! Confront him, subdue him!
Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,
Psa 17:14 from men by your hand, O LORD,
from men of the world whose portion is in this life.
You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children,
and they leave their abundance to their infants.
Psa 17:15 As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness;
when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness.

that runs down upon the edges of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon that runs down
upon the mountains of Zion,
because there Yahweh commanded the blessing—
life forever.
Praising Yahweh in the Temple at Night
