EASTER AND SPRINGTIME AT PINNACLE

Church Blog, Events0

It takes 7 weeks to celebrate the greatest event in the history of our universe

– Jesus’ rising from the dead.

In the Bible the number 7 is a symbol of perfection and
completeness. Jesus’ perfect and complete victory assures us of the perfection
and completeness of our eternity with God in heaven. And so Easter is both a
day and a season – “The 7 Sundays of Easter.”

Highlights of upcoming weekends:

Observe Good Shepherd Sunday on April
25-26 (4th Sunday of Easter). At 3 that
Sunday afternoon all are invited to the
Installation of Rev. Chris Bode as pastor
of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hamlin.

Visit with Scarlett Aeckerle, Executive Director
of LINC Rochester, and also listen
to a “1st Century Chariot Chaser” on May
2-3 (5th Sunday of Easter).

Honor mothers of the past, present, and
future on Mother’s Day, May 9-10 (6th
Sunday of Easter).

Pray as we Bless the Seed and Soil on
May 16-17 (7th Sunday of Easter). At 3
that Sunday afternoon all are invited to
the Installation of Rev. Bob Weidmayer as
pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in
Farmington.
May God bless us all in this and every
season!
