As you have heard on the news, some communities in Louisiana have received 36 inches of rain last week.  Local churches directing relief operations in Louisiana have stated an urgent need for an Eastern District Disaster Relief Team to arrive as SOON as possible. The trip is planned for August 17-24, some staying longer.

Thanks to the Eastern District for paying for gas expenses down to LA, but if there are other entities who would like to support this effort and its inevitable expenses and possible need for supplies, etc., you can send checks made out to “NEPA Lutheran Mission Partnership” to:
