In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice;
in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for You and watch.
My mouth is filled with Your praise,
and with Your glory all the day.

Daily Prayer
Lord we come into Your presence once again knowing that You will hear us for the sake of Your Son who gave His life to unite all things in heaven and on earth. Our minds are so easily entangled by earthly concerns, help us to set our minds on things that are above where Christ is. We pray that You would fill us with Your grace so that whatever challenges we face would not cause us to lose our hope in You. Continue to direct our leaders at all levels of government that they may use their gifts to reestablish peace and prosperity in our world. Also be with all those who put themselves at risk to help others during this crisis. We place ourselves and those we love in Your care. In Your Son’s Name we pray, amen.
Luther’s Morning prayer
I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger; and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.
